July 4th: Trash Collection, What's Open & What's Closed

Find out what's open and what's closed - as well as when you can expect your trash to be collected - for the Independence Day holiday on Thursday.

Trash Collection

There will be no trash or recyclable pick-up on Thursday, July 4 in the Town of Herndon. Residents who regularly have their trash and/or recyclables picked up on Thursdays and Fridays will all be serviced this Friday, July 5.

What's Open? What's Closed?

Town Offices:
CLOSED July 4th

Farmers’ Market: 
OPEN 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as usual, at the corner of Elden and Station streets downtown, across from Dairy Queen and the W&OD caboose.

Herndon
 Community Center: OPEN 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Herndon Centennial Golf Course: 
OPEN 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
