Ready to Write the Next Chapter in Your Life?

You have a lifetime of accumulated skills and leadership.  Perhaps you are ready to or you have  already made the leap and have retired.  What’s next?  Are you ready to take the lifetime of skills into actions that can make a real difference in your community?

The opportunity to move lives from "success to significance" is available through the Lifetime Leaders Program (LLP). The 2-1/2 month of bi-weekly September – November classes helps participants recognize their new potential to explore opportunities for civic awareness, community action, and volunteer connections.   The class meets 6 times and on alternate weeks for a group volunteering experience.

The Lifetime Leadership program provided me with direct exposure to key contacts and broadened my knowledge of ways to think about and use my time and talents in the Fairfax County community.  Since participating in the 2012 program, I served as a practice interviewer with Computer C.O.R.E. students, explored becoming a County emergency services volunteer, and started my own part-time small business.
