Herndon Crime Report: Man Robbed at Gunpoint, Juvenile Assaulted and More

Reports of recent crime around the Town of Herndon.

The following incidents were reported by the Town of Herndon Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.


Jan. 18 - Robbery: A man robbed a victim in the 400 block of Elden Street at gunpoint, stealing both his wallet and car. Police are investigating the case.


Jan. 19 - Malicious Wounding: A domestic argument in the 1200 block of Bond Street escalated when the female hit the male in the face and cut him on the leg with a sharp object. The victim sustained minor injuries. The 26-year-old Herndon woman was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.


Jan. 20 - Aggravated Assault: A juvenile was strangled and had his head shoved into the ground by a woman known to his family, in the 1100 block of Waterford Place. The victim received non-life-threatening injuries to his neck and face. A 39-year-old Fairfax woman was arrested and charged with strangulation.
