Runaway Home Plays Americana/Folk Music at Folk Club of Reston-Herndon

The Nashville-based Runaway Home – a collaboration between three singer/songwriters, Mark Elliott (The Troubador), Gary Culley (The Guitar Slinger) and Lisa McCarter (The Mountain Songbird) – is touring in support of the release of its self-titled debut CD and its national tour comes after months of support from its dedicated local fans, which come out to see the band perform in its favorite element: live without a net. As the band likes to say, it’s the music that makes them smile. Melissa Crowe of the Victoria Advocate (Tx.) recently said of the band's performance in Texas: "With heart-stopping three-part harmonies, Runaway Home blends life experiences into a signature Americana sound."
