1. The Herndon Town Council is seeking public input on the 2014 budget. The council is inviting the public to speak at this week's public hearing to let them know which programs and services are most important to residents. The public hearing starts at 7 p.m. at the Ingram Council Chambers, 765 Lynn St., in downtown Herndon. 2. This week in Herndon and Northern Virginia area residents can buy their sweetheart a singing Valentine through the Fairfax Jubilaires. From now through Wednesday, singing Valentines are $50 and available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.
