Council for the Arts Scholarship Applications Available
Herdon group awards more than $10,000 in scholarships each year.
Council for the Arts of Herndon's Youth Art Scholarship applications are now available to students who plan to apply. Each year the Council for the Arts of Herndon awards more than $10,000 in scholarships to young artists. Area youths who are pursuing studies in the arts and live or go to school in Herndon are eligible. Additionally, applicants must have reached the age of 13 and may be no older than 21 on April 1, 2013. The applicant or a family member must be a member of the Council for the Arts of Herndon. Along with the application, the applicant must include two letters of recommendation.
