Ten Strangest Items Stolen in Herndon in 2010

Some of the most bizarre items stolen in Herndon this year include hair extensions and a steak

While crime is no laughing matter, the items stolen by suspects are sometimes bizarre and amusing. A number of strange items were reported stolen in Herndon this year. Here's a sample:  1. A subject attempted to steal a steak from a business on Sept. 9 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 2. The victim reported a blow dryer and hair extensions missing from their residence on Oct. 24 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue. 3. A subject opened a beverage, drank from it, and returned it to the shelf at a business Oct. 26 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 4. Two subjects attempted to steal a shopping cart from a business on Nov. 7 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 5. The victim reported a subject stealing cell phones, a video game and a baritone …
