Green Lizard Cycling is now open in downtown Herndon and welcomed visitors all day Saturday. The cycling and coffee shop is located at 718 Lynn St., in the historic Nachman building in downtown Herndon. Green Lizard carries bikes for those who compete and for those simply looking to joy ride. Repair services are available and Hefler Performance Coaching will also be moving into the building. Owners Beth and Dave Meyer have also brought in organic, fair trade coffee and espresso from Kaladi Brothers Coffee, based in Alaska. Offerings include coffee, lattes, mochas, teas and Italian sodas. Green Lizard Cycling is working to remodel the inside of the Nachman building on Lynn Street.
Signage is up on the building and Green Lizard Cycling is beginning to take shape in downtown Herndon. The coffee shop and cycling store is working on renovations in the Nachman Building on Lynn Street in downtown Herndon. In recent weeks shipments of coffee equipment and bikes have come in, and a number of bikes are on display in the windows. Green Lizard will serve Kaladi Brother's Coffee, organic coffee from Alaska. More restaurants and businesses opening in downtown Herndon.
It's official — the former So Addictive Lounge and Grill in downtown Herndon will reopen as a restaurant featuring Tex-Mex style food. Copan will serve Salvadorean and Honduran food. Work has been going on inside the space for some time, but a brightly colored banner was added recently. The business has leased the Nachman Building in downtown Herndon.
A coffee shop and cycling store is coming to downtown Herndon. Mayor Lisa Merkel announced Friday afternoon that Green Lizard Cycling, a bike shop and espresso bar will be opening in the Nachman Building on Lynn Street this spring. Most recently the Chabad of Reston-Herndon used the building. The Nachman Building is also known for being the first in Herndon to take part in the Council for the Arts of Herndon's downtown mural project.
