AARP Dulles Awards Nursing Scholarships at GMU
Four $2,000 scholarships were awarded.
The Dulles Chapter of AARP presented four $2,000 scholarships to two undergraduate students, one masters student and one doctoral nursing student at George Mason University on Nov. 14. All the scholarship recipients are interested and passionate about serving older adults and are part of GMU's geriatrics study program. AARP Dulles works to raise money for students in the program through its annual Classic Car Show. This year's Classic Car Show major sponsors were in attendance for the scholarship awards, including Wiygul Automotive and Griffin-Owens Insurance. [Want to stay on top of news in Herndon?
