Herndon Police Arrest Man in Craigslist Armed Robbery

Laptop allegedly stolen at gunpoint in December sale set up on Craigslist.

Detectives from the Herndon Police Department said Wednesday they arrested a suspect in connection with a Craigslist-related robbery in December. Mohamed Darseidia, 25, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony for his alleged involvement in the case, police said. Herndon Police said on Dec. 27, the owner of a Mac Pro laptop was attempting to sell the computer to someone he met through Craigslist. He went to meet the possible buyer to sell the laptop in the 1000 block of Elden Street.  When the victim arrived at the agreed upon location, the laptop computer was taken when he was robbed at gunpoint.
