Police Arrest Man Linked to 3 Armed Robberies

Herndon Police say man allegedly held his victims at gunpoint between Jan. 22 and Jan. 30.

Herndon Police arrested a man Thursday who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint on at a hotel on Elden Street — and possibly two other victims in similar crimes this week elsewhere in Fairfax County. Police said Friday they arrested 27-year-old Kenan M. Ozcan of Arlington in connection with the incidents. He is being held with no bond at the Fairfax County jail, facing charges of armed robbery and use of a firearm in connection with a felony from both the Herndon and Fairfax County Police Departments. On Wednesday, a 22-year-old woman reported she was robbed inside a hotel in the 1000 block of Elden Street, where she was a guest.
