Weekend Planner: Rock 'n' Roke, FNL and More

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here's what's happening in Herndon.

THURSDAY • Uncle Pete Rocks is taking the stage at the Town Green for Farmers Market Fun Days at 10:30 a.m. today.  • The Breeze is hosting a Stars-n-Bars Texas Hold 'Em for free beginning at 7 p.m. tonight. Specials will be available.   • Rock 'n' Roke takes over at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern beginning at 9:30 p.m. sing karaoke to a live band.  • Floris United Methodist Church brings its production of The Music Man to the stage at 7 p.m. Thursday. Proceeds benefit Connections for Hope.  FRIDAY • Dr. FU and Herr Metal take the Friday Night Live stage at 6:30 p.m. on the Town Green at the Herndon Municipal Center Friday with lots of rock music from the '80s through today.  • Floris United Methodist Church brings its production of The Music Man…

Click on the links for more information.   THURSDAY • Diggity Dudes at Farmers Market Fun Days - The Diggity Dudes will perform from 10:30-11:15 a.m. during the Herndon Farmers Market in downtown Herndon. The Dudes perform hip music for hip kids. The performance will be held on the Herndon Municipal Stage at the town green, 777 Lynn St.  FRIDAY • Six to Midnight and Crowded Streets at FNL - Six to Midnight will open for Crowded Streets this week at Friday Night Live on the town green.
