Hutchison Elementary Receives $70K Donation from Time Warner
Funds will help buy supplies for STEM subjects.
Hutchison Elementary School's business partner, Time Warner Cable, was able to donate $70,000 in proceeds to the school after the company's Time Warner Cable Charity Golf Classic. The funds will help purchase supplies and equipment for the school's science, technology, engineering and math initiatives. Time Warner has served as Hutchison's business partner for three years, and has donated a total of $102,000 to the school in that time. About 70 percent of the students at Hutchison Elementary School are eligible for free and reduced-price meals.
