Fox Mill Walks to Unmask Homelessness

Fox Mill Elementary students walked for Reston Interfaith in October.

Seven years ago, a first grade student at Fox Mill Elementary School wanted to do something about homelessness. Reston Interfaith earned $102,741 from Fannie Mae through the program.  The number of walkers who take part helps determine the amount of funding an organization receives from Fannie Mae, and every registration counts. My apologies. We have another game story on the site as well that was contributed by Reston Patch, but most of my experience is in government, business and community reporting. I admit, I'm not a sports reporter and this is the first time I attended a football game as a reporter in my career and my knowledge is fairly limited. I had a choice to go to the game and try to cover it or not do …   more ›
