Herndon Police Report: Restaurant Patrons Leave Without Paying Bill

Herndon Police reported a group of restaurant patrons left without paying their bill on March 3 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 25 through March 3, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  BRUIN DISTRICT • A 32-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for assault at 7:10 p.m. on March 1 in the 400 block of Spruce Court. • A group of restaurant patrons left without paying their bill at 10:25 p.m. on March 3 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive. • A 33-year-old Herndon man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 1:09 a.m. on Feb. 27 near the intersection of Worldgate Drive and Wiltshire Lane. • Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 28 in the 500 block …

Herndon Police Report: Man Cited for Running Illegal Boarding House

A Herndon man was issued a citation for running an illegal boarding house on Feb. 7 in the 1400 block of Rainbow Court.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 4-10, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Herndon Police Report: Seven Incidents of Drunk in Public Reported

The Herndon Police reported multiple incidents of drunk in public as well as an incident of drinking in public.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 14 through Jan. 20, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  BRUIN DISTRICT • The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:58 p.m. on Jan. 17 in the 2100 block of Wilkes Court. • A 30-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault and possession of marijuana at 10:52 a.m. on Jan. 20 in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue. • The victim reported that on Dec. 26, 2012 a firearm was stolen from their unsecured vehicle in the 12000 block of Alton Square. Herndon Police Report: Two Businesses Report Utility Bill Scams

Two Herndon businesses reported receiving fraudulent calls for utility bills.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 7 through Jan. 13, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  BRUIN DISTRICT • The victim reported their residence was entered between 3:30 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. and their laptop computer was reported stolen on Jan. 8 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue. • A vehicle was entered between 10 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 8 a.m. on Jan. 10 and a wallet was reported stolen in the 12000 block of Alton Square. The wallet was later recovered in the bushes outside the building with cash and a credit card was missing from the inside. • Graffiti was reported found in the area at 4:49…

Herndon Police Report: Sink Torn from Bathroom Wall

Herndon Police report a sink was torn from the wall in a public restroom on Dec. 21 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue.

Graffiti Incident Reported at Herndon High School

Driver charged in accident with school bus filled with Dogwood Elementary students on Dec. 13.

GRAFFITI  Police report graffiti incidents at Herndon High School and South Lakes High School.  On Dec. 15, a security officer reported graffiti found on a sign in front of HHS. A work order was submitted to remove the paint. On Dec. 16, police received a report of words painted on the side of a school bus parked at SLHS. DRIVER CHARGED IN SCHOOL BUS CRASH The driver of a car that hit a Fairfax County School bus on Dec. 13 has been charged with reckless driving. Fairfax County Police say Erika Austin, 40, of Reston was driving her 2003 Kia Spectra about 8:10 a.m. on Dec. 13 when she rear-ended the bus at South Lakes Drive and South Lakes Court. Herndon Man Charged in Domestic Assault

Crime news from Fairfax County Police for the week ending Dec. 14. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Fairfax County Police charged a man with assault, abduction and strangulation after a domestic incident in the 13300 block of Hungerford Place in Herndon on Dec. 6. Police said they were called to the home about 1:45 p.m. to respond to a domestic incident. Rigoberto Quinteros, 26, of Herndon was arrested. The victim did not require medical attention, police said. SEX OFFENSE, 13200 block of Poener Place, Herndon, 6:20 a.m. Dec. 17, A 41-year-old victim reported he was sexually assaulted by known individual. The case is still under investigation. Herndon Police Report: Police Still Seek 7-Eleven Robbery Suspects

The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Herndon Police Department is continuing to ask for the public's help in finding two men suspected of robbing the 7-Eleven at 1115 Crestview Drive.  The two men entered the 7-Eleven at about 11:19 p.m. Nov. 29. The first suspect pointed a handgun at the 7-Eleven employees, attempting to get them to open the cash register.  The first suspect then fired a shot while the employees were trying to open the register. No one was injured. The second suspect acted as the lookout at the front door of the business during the robbery.  Once the employees handed over an undisclosed amount of money, both suspects fled the store.  The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male, between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, 25-30 years old, medium build, …

However our policy now has us not include names because charges could possibly be dropped or changed and we don't have the resources to check every single case. A subject was seen exposing himself outside a pool hotel area on Nov. 14 in the 100 block of Spring Street.
