Herndon Post Office to Participate in Passport Day
Passport Day takes place March 9 in Herndon.
The United States Postal Service and the US Department of State are holding Passport Day in the USA 2013 on March 9, and Herndon's Post Office is taking part in the event. The day offers a chance for people to apply for or renew their passports without having to make an appointment. Several Northern Virginia Post Offices will be participating. "This is a great opportunity for Northern Virginia residents planning to travel outside the United States to apply for a passport without making a reservation," said Northern Virginia Retail Manager Sarah Berg in a USPS press release.
