A grocery store and a new restaurant have opened in Herndon recently.
After a number of new business announcements came during the last few weeks of 2012, two of those businesses have opened to customers. Copan Tex-Mex restaurant (733 Elden St.), offering Honduran and Salvadorean food, opened over the weekend. The freshly painted and renovated restaurant has about 20 small tables for customers and a bar. Fresh World, an international grocery store, once had a location in nearby Reston at Tall Oaks Village Center. The store, located at 1070 Elden St., took place of the old Bloom location and offers foods from countries around the world. Fresh World opened during the holidays.
