Herndon Police Report: Police Still Seek 7-Eleven Robbery Suspects

The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Herndon Police Department is continuing to ask for the public's help in finding two men suspected of robbing the 7-Eleven at 1115 Crestview Drive.  The two men entered the 7-Eleven at about 11:19 p.m. Nov. 29. The first suspect pointed a handgun at the 7-Eleven employees, attempting to get them to open the cash register.  The first suspect then fired a shot while the employees were trying to open the register. No one was injured. The second suspect acted as the lookout at the front door of the business during the robbery.  Once the employees handed over an undisclosed amount of money, both suspects fled the store.  The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male, between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, 25-30 years old, medium build, …

Hi Bill! In that case it's a Patch company policy. Previous to this policy being put in place I included names because it was already online anyway. However our policy now has us not include names because charges could possibly be dropped or changed and we don't have the resources to check every single case. Herndon Police Seek Suspects in 7-Eleven Robbery

Gunshot fired during robbery; no injuries reported.

The Herndon Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding two men suspected of robbing the 7-Eleven at 1115 Crestview Drive.  The two men entered the 7-Eleven at about 11:19 p.m. on Thursday and Suspect 1 pointed a handgun at the 7-Eleven employees, attempting to get them to open the cash register.  Suspect 1 then fired a shot while the employees were trying to open the register. I assume that "light-skinned" means that the perps were just that, light-skinned. There are many variations in peoples' colorations - from pinkish white, fair, nicely tanned, any number of brown hues into black. Mr. Sarson, at least you know, from the description, that you don't have to look for any dark skinned robbers.   more ›
