Looking for something to get you in the Christmas spirit? Try a local holiday event!
1. The Oak Hill Elementary School chorus will be singing at Reston Town Center at 7 p.m. Friday night. The students from the school will sing a medley of holiday music near the pavilion on Market Street. 2. The Herndon Depot and Caboose will hold an open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Herndon Historical Society will be on hand to explore the history of the town of Herndon. Outside at the Big Red Caboose, the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club will be operating a short-wave radio station and educating attendees on short-wave radio. Those who attend can also go inside the restored caboose. 3. The 5th annual Herndon Holiday Model Train Show is taking place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at …
