I've tried most if not all the Herndon restaurants for breakfast. Amphora is the BEST!

Best breakfast in Herndon - I totally agree. We go there at least once a week. Their selection is huge and they have fantastic coffee. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and always make us feel welcome!
Without a doubt, the Amphor has the best breakfast in Herndon. A very wide selection of food and it's all sooooo good!
This restaurant will be open for traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the "trimmings." When you are just too tired to cook, it is nice to know that Amphora will be open.
Plus, check out their pastry display in the front. My favorite is their raspberry filled/white chocolate mousse cake with buttercream frosting. It is amazing---with layers of seedless raspberry jam and white chocolate mousse and delicate yellow cake.
I love Amphora's food. Brought my boyfriend there and he was so happy to find a locally owned place that does great breakfast food. Get the country sausage fritatta. It's incredible!
When we lived in Herndon we ate here a lot - huge variety of food and usually really good - occasionally a miss on the specials menu. Great bakery, too.

I have eaten here, usually breakfast, for several years now and can say the food is good, the service is very good and it's close to me. What's disturbing is the managers/owners/etc arrongantly parking their cars on the curb, yellow curb line, mind you, directly next to the sign that says "No Parking". Arrogance at its height.
