Seeing double isn’t a bad thing at The Workhouse Arts Center this weekend. The Unquiet Theatre Company will be presenting aOne-Act Festival with two stories from Ellen Cribbs: Pandemic and Voices in the Dark. From $5. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A performer with Prince’s New Power Generation, Andy Allo is showing off her solo talent at Jammin’ Java. The Western Fairfax County Woman’s Club is hosting a luncheon and arts and crafts fair at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cale Community Center on 4615 Stringfellow Road in Fairfax.

Take a walk through Huntley Meadows Park and see if you can spot an owl. The evening walk is at 5p.m. Saturday at the park on 3701 Lockheed Blvd. Register online.


If you’re interested in starting a business, the 2014 DC/Virginia Business & Community Expo is this weekend. The expo is at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sheraton Suites at 801 N. St Asaph St. in Old Town Alexandria. The event is free to attend.
