Public hearing with Town Council on project to light the W&OD Trail. The Town Council will vote Tuesday night on whether to approve a project to light a 3,20-foot stretch of the W&OD Trail that extends from Ferndale Avenue to Van Buren Street, through Herndon. The Town has received a matching grant from the Commonwealth to help cover the costs. If you want to learn more about the project and share your thoughts with the Council, come to the public hearing at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Center, 777 Lynn Street in downtown.
