'Jambrew' Town Concert Series Kicks Off Friday, Last Farmers Market Fun Day Thursday, and More

There's lots of fun stuff going on in Herndon this week - check it out!

Are you mourning the end of the Friday Night Live season? Most of us are - but fear not, because JamBrew kicks off this Friday! The JamBrew Live Music series takes place on the Town Green next to the Municipal Building at 777 Lynn St. each Friday night from Aug. 30 to Sept. 27, from 5-10 p.m. See some of the D.C. Metro area's most talented live bands, while enjoying great-tasting lagers, ales and ciders, as well as Bud and Bud light, and feasting on local food like Jimmy's Old Town Tavern's famous buffalo wings. Proceeds benefit local organizations like The Closet and Recyclelife.org. For more information, visit JamBrew.com and follow JamBrew on Facebook and Twitter

This weekend is Labor Day - and in Herndon, that means the Labor Day Festival is coming! It all takes place on Monday from 12-6 p.m. on the Town Green at 777 Lynn St., next to the Municipal Building. See live bands, taste local wines and microbrews, view chef demonstrations, browse the artisan craft booths, and just have a smashing time with the whole family celebrating a day off of work! Check back with Patch later this week for a bigger article on what you can expect from this year's Labor Day Festival.
