• On Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 , who has dressed celebrities like Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Alison Brie and more. Her bridal designs will be at the salon for two days only. Call for an appointment or request one online.
• The exhibit features photographs from the finalists in the 2012 Fine Art Photography Competition in the Post Gallery at ArtSpace.

FRIDAY
• Friday Night Live this week will feature South Bay and Drop Dead Sexy. Drop Dead Sexy plays everything from Abba to Journey to Queen to Twisted Sister. • The Herndon Community Center will play on Friday night from 8-9:30 p.m. for a Zumba master class. Diakite choreographed the Zoomer song used in many Zumba classes and travels internationally as a guest instructor. The event will include door prizes and drawings and all levels are welcome. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
SATURDAY
• to support the troop from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The flowers come from Piedmont Growers in Culpepper and offered varieties include begonias, marigolds, impatiens, zinnias, geraniums, verbena and more. The sale will be held at the Kingston Chase Pool parking lot, is rain or shine, cash only and all sales are final.
• . The cost is a minimum donation of $40, to be paid in advance. The cut-a-thon will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 703-464-5880 to make an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed, and the day will include music, raffle prizes and more.
• on Saturday, May 12. The day will include yard sales from many families in the neighborhood with many different items to choose from. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
