hosted its first fundraising walkathon on Saturday. The event was held at the Connections for Hope building, in Herndon, and more than 150 people came out to Walk for Hope.
The organization supports the partnership of nonprofit organizations and other service providers all under one roof. Together, they provide individuals and families in need with access to an integrated array of services.
Connections for Hope organizations include the Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic, Just Neighbors, Neighbors United, Reston Interfaith, the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Service Board.
