Northwest Federal Credit Union Gives Back

Throughout the holidays Northwest Federal Credit Union gave back to local families throughout the community.

Members and employees of Northwest Federal Credit Union helped many families throughout the area during the holiday season with food and toy drives. 

Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation collected more than 770 pounds of food that was donated to families throughout Northern Virginia, and the toy drive collected more than 200 toys for children in the community. 

NWFCU Foundation also sponsored the Children's Holiday Party hosted byt he Vienna-Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce. The annual party benefits children at local homeless shelters. NWFCU also adopted local families to provide a Christmas to remember and 17 families benefitted, receiving toys, food, blankets, gift cards, bicycles and other items to make their holidays bright.

“I can’t imagine a better way to honor the spirit of the season” said NWFCU President and CEO Gerrianne Burks in a press release. “Our employees and members truly know what it means to give from the heart!”
