Letter to the Editor: Towne Square Singers Celebrate 30 Years
The Herndon Towne Square Singers will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with spring concerts filled with music from the Big Band era, Broadway, the Beatles and more.
Some of the most dedicated volunteers in our area are the members of the Herndon Towne Square Singers who will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with three special concerts next week at the Industrial Strength Theater in the Sunset Business Park in Herndon.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday May 4th and Saturday May 5th followed by a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Sunday May 6th. The program will feature a wide variety of music from past performances including songs from the Big Band era, Broadway, Beatles, the 1950s, Country, Jazz and more. It promises to be a fun-filled evening of song and dance.
Tickets can be obtained in advance at the Herndon Community Center or by calling 703-787-7300. Let’s fill the house for all three performances and show our appreciation for this group that has entertained us over these many years.
