Herndon Rotary to Hold Its First Pumpkin Patch

Local residents may buy a pumpkin in downtown Herndon for a good cause

The first ever Herndon Rotary Pumpkin Patch will hold a grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the corner of Elden and Center streets next to Stohlman Subaru.

Area residents can get their pumpkins in downtown Herndon this year and proceeds from the sales will help provide scholarships to Herndon High School students.

The Herndon Rotary Pumpkin Patch will be open daily throughout October, rain or shine and parking is available on Center Street. Pumpkin seekers can select from small, medium and large pumpkins, drop their money in the lockbox and take pictures of the kids and family amongst the corn stalks, hay bales and seasonal decorations, which are also available for purchase.

The Rotary Club of Herndon is one of the most active service clubs in Herndon. The club provides financial support to the local and global community, and volunteers throughout the town. Find the Rotary Club on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/RotaryClubOfHerndon and at www.HerndonRotary.org.
