The Council for the Arts of Herndon held its annual meeting on Monday, Jan. 23 at O'Sullivan's Irish Pub in historic downtown Herndon.
President Grace Wolf presented a brief overview of some of the organization's key events and partnerships for the year. CAH also honored sponsors, volunteers and local community members.
Russia House Restaurant was named the 2012 Business Sponsor of the year; the Nachman Mural was named the 2012 Project of the Year; Chris Griffin, of Griffin-Owens Insurance, was named 2012 Volunteer of the Year; and the 2012 President's Award went to Karen Cobb, former executive director of CAH.
