Charity Dog Wash a Hit For Dogs and Owners

Bark 'N Bubble's parters with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue for charity dog wash

Herndon’s Bark 'N Bubbles gives new meaning to “cleaning up well” and Saturday’s charity dog wash proved that it’s not just about looking good, it’s about being healthy too.

Dani Weng, vice president and COO of Barks 'N Bubbles, has been hooked on dogs since she got her first dog at 10 years old. She explained that the Barks 'N Bubbles business isn’t just about cleaning your dog.

“It’s all about the dogs and bonding with the dogs. That’s why we offer self-serving dog wash. Its such a great experience, it makes it more enjoyable for the dogs too,” Weng said.

During the charity washes, volunteers offer some tender love and care and shampoo to their furry clients. All proceeds from the charity dog washes go to their volunteer organization. Saturday’s charity dog wash was partnered with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue who provides pet adoption in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

“We definitely believe in supporting rescue groups like Homeward Trails.  We try to do one charity event a month in all of our locations. We believe that more people should adopt dogs,” Weng said.

Whether it’s a blood drive for animals or support for rescue dogs one thing remains constant; Barks 'N Bubbles turns a simple good deed into one that benefits both the dog and dog owner.

Barks N’ Bubble’s next charity dog wash will be on November 12th from 11am-3pm in support of the Virginia German Shepherd rescue. For information about this event or any future charity events, visit http://www.barknbubblesdogwash.com/herndon/calendar.cfm.
