Over the past 20 years, the Greater Washington Metropolitan region has quietly built a reputation for being home to some of the finest regional theaters in the United States. From the longstanding traditions of Arena Stage to the adventurous spirit of the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. From the exciting musicals at Signature Theatre to the revitalization of the classics at the Shakespeare Theatre.
But beyond these flagship companies, the Greater DC region has also become the home for over 80 professional theatre companies of every shape and size. However, surprisingly, with over 80 companies in operation, not a single one has made it's home and focus specifically in the Dulles Corridor.
NextStop Theatre Company is here to remedy that oversight!
As the second generation of the Elden Street Players, a non-profit theatre that has been serving the Herndon community for over twenty-five years. We feel that we are ready and uniquely prepared to bring the same high quality actors, directors, and productions to the Dulles Corridor that have become expected in other areas like Arlington and Montgomery County.
