What's Open, What's Closed Labor Day Weekend in Herndon and Fairfax County
Here's what you need to know.
The Town of Herndon and Fairfax County's offices and services will alter schedules the upcoming Labor Day holiday.
The Town of Herndon's offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 2. No trash will be collected Monday; it'll be picked up Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The Herndon Community Center will be closed Labor Day.
The Town of Herndon will host its annual Labor Day Festival from noon - 6 p.m. on the Town Green at 777 Lynn Street.
Fairfax County's Labor Day Schedule is as follows:
County Government - Closed.
Courts - Closed.
Public Schools and School Offices - Closed.
Library - Closed Sunday and Monday.
Fairfax Connector - Operating on a Sunday schedule on the holiday.
Fastran - Not in service.
County trash and recycling collection - Normal service.
Teen and Senior Centers - Closed.
Community Centers - Closed.
