Fairfax Connector Allowing Water on Buses Wednesday

The Fairfax Connector is allowing passengers to consume water on buses on Wednesday.

The Fairfax Connector is allowing water on its buses through July 18 because of excessive heat.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for July 18, and heat index values are predicted to be about 105 degrees.

The exception applies to water consumed only on Fairfax Connector buses. Passengers are being encouraged to drink their water out of containers that can be tightly secured, and to throw their empty bottles and trash away in proper trash or recycling receptacles.
