Need a Ride to Redskins-Seahawks Playoff?

Ballpark Bus has the event on its calendar; it sold out two buses for Cowboys game.

If you’re lucky enough to have gotten your hands on a ticket to the Washington Redskins-Seattle Seahawks NFL wildcard playoff game Jan. 6, you may be wondering how you’ll get there.

After a successful season hauling fans to Washington Nationals baseball games, Ballpark Bus expanded to the football. The business schedules buses to pick up fans at local restaurants and take them to and from games. Patrons never have to drive in game-day traffic and can have a great meal before or afterward.

Ballpark Bus is registering passengers now for a bus to depart at noon Sunday from Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Ashburn. It takes about 90 minutes to get to FedEx Field. The bus will pick up passengers in the same parking lot where it drops them off at the stadium. Tickets for the bus cost $35.

Let’s be clear, though, game tickets are not included. The game is sold out, but if you’ve got a ticket or manage to get one, consider not driving. Ballpark Bus was started by a group of Ashburn fans.

The Redskins encourage fans to check Ticketmaster in case there are ticket returns. For those driving, parking lot gates open at 11:30 a.m. and stadium gates open at 1:30 p.m. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. The 1 p.m. playoff game will be played shown at the stadium.
