NCAA March Madness 2014: Television Schedule and Scores

No. 1-seed Virginia begins its run.

Virginia begins its mad march in quest of the NCAA men's basketball championship Friday as the fourth No. 1 seed, taking on 16th-seeded Coastal Carolina in Raleigh.

The Cavaliers (28-6) won their first outright ACC regular-season title since 1981 and their first tournament crown since 1976. 

Virginia missed the NCAA tournament last year and hasn't won an NCAA tournament game since 2007.

It's the first trip for Coastal Carolina (21-12) to the tournament since 1993 and only the third ever. The Big South Conference champions are 0-2 in the tournament.

The game is scheduled to begin at 9:25 p.m. and will be televised by WTBS.
