On Saturday, June 9, the young ladies of the Herndon Reston Youth Softball (HRYS) League’s 10U Herndon ‘HERricanes’ completed an undefeated, perfect season, 17-0, winning the Loudoun County Softball Alliance (LCSA) Championship, representing HRYS and the Lower Loudoun Girls Softball League. The girls worked very hard and are very proud! HRYS Commissioner Bob Thomas stated that in all the years of running the league he hadn't recalled anyone ever accomplishing the perfect season feat.
