Herndon High Field Hockey Invitational Kicks Off Friday

This weekend, the Herndon High Hornets will play host to high schools from throughout the region in its annual Field Hockey Tournament.

Below is the schedule of matches.

Be sure to catch the Herndon girls Friday at 4:30 versus Washington-Lee, and at 7:30 p.m. versus Madison. You can also catch them on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. versus West Potomac, as well as matches later in the day, to be announced.


Friday, Aug. 30:

Game 1A: Langley vs. Yorktown in the stadium at 3 p.m.
Game 2A: Battlefield vs. Marshall on the hockey field at 3 p.m.
Game 3B: Washington-Lee vs. Herndon in the stadium at 4:30 p.m.
Game 4B: Madison vs. West Potomac on the hockey field at 4:30 p.m.
Game 5B: Marshall vs. Yorktown at the stadium at 6 p.m.
Game 6A: Battlefield vs. Langley on the hockey field at 6 p.m.
Game 8B: Washington-Lee vs. West Potomac on the hockey field at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 31:

Game 9A: Yorktown vs. Battlefield in the stadium at 9 a.m.
Game 10A: Marshall vs. Langley on the hockey field at 9 a.m.
Game 11B: Herndon vs. West Potomac in the stadium at 10:30 a.m.
Game 12B: Washington-Lee vs. Madison on the hockey field at 10:30 a.m.
