The Race to Rid SIDS, organized by Brian & Tamara Donohue, will celebrate the life of their son Jack who passed away in May 2011 at 3 months old. Following their loss, Brian & Tamara committed themselves to prevent other families from experiencing their tragic loss by joining the Playmates in Heaven Foundation. The Playmates in Heaven Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding SIDS research and raising awareness on infant sleep safety.
5k Description - All 5K participants registered before September 29 are guaranteed to receive a short sleeve technical t-shirt and goodie bag. 5K participants registered after September 30 are guaranteed a goodie bag and will receive a short sleeve technical t-shirt on a first come, first serve basis.
Little Angels Fun Run - All registered 1K Little Angels participants are guaranteed to receive a cotton t-shirt and goodie bag. Sign up NOW! Space is limited to 100 participants. All Little Angels Fun Run participants will receive a finisher’s medal! Course is kid friendly and recommended for ages 8 and under. Parents feel free to join in the fun with your little bitty ones as strollers are welcome! NOTE: when registering stroller participants, please register the child as the participant.
