Herndon Braves Varsity Black Baseball Fall 2012 – TRYOUTS

The Braves Varsity team will be holding tryouts on July 30th at 6:30 at Herndon High School and August 7th at 6:30 also at Herndon High School to fill openings on our roster for the fall baseball season. The team is currently composed of Juniors and Seniors but will accept talented sophomores capable of playing at the Varsity level. Players do not have to attend Herndon High School to play for the team. We will play a full NVTBL schedule and a weekend tournament. Most of our activities are centered in the Herndon area.

Our coaches are Ronnie LaBrie and Jeremy Sowers, both Senior Instructors at Diamond Sports Training and former professional baseball players (Washington Nationals and Cleveland Indians respectively) so our players benefit from high level instruction. We keep our roster size small so as to guarantee plenty of playing time for all players. Cost depends on the number of games we play - but figure on between $25 and $30 per game.

Contact Craig Sablosky at csabo15@gmail.com or 703-624-2471 if you have questions or want to RSVP for a tryout.  There will be a sign-up sheet at the tryout - but I would appreciate your emailing me the high school your son attends, graduation date, positions played, height and weight, Bat R or L, Throw R or L, and baseball experience from 13u on.
