FRIDAY

, a display of artwork by Herndon High School seniors, includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography and computer graphics by senior art students. The opening reception for  will be Friday, March 16 from 6-8 p.m. The exhibit, as well as the opening, are free and open to the public.  

Friday night is . Patrons are welcome to bring their pool floats during open swim, as well as play on the community center's "Swampson." is from 6-10 p.m. and is held on the third Friday each month. There's no extra charge, other than the regular admission fee. 

SATURDAY

is once again playing host to the largest tae kwon do championship on the East Coast. The  attracts about 2,000 people, including competitors, coaches, officials, special guests and spectators. Proceeds from spectator tickets will benefit the South Lakes High School Athletic Booster Club and is one of the club’s largest fundraisers.

The at 6 p.m. Saturday evening. The Chorale, along with the Reston Chorale Jazz Trio will present Music Americana! which will feature traditional, popular American music. 

SUNDAY

Weber's Pet Supermarket in the Fox Mill Shopping Center is , Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training. The dog wash is $16 per dog, with $10 going toward GRREAT. For full dog wash hours . 

If you're looking to add a furry friend to your life,  at the PetSmart in the Spectrum Center in Reston. The organization will have a number of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens on site.
