students can begin picking up their schedules next week at the high school during specific times. Here's when:
Schedule Pick Up:
• Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the library
• Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to noon in the cafeteria
• Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Services Office
In order to pick up schedules students will need their emergency care card, health care form, the Student Rights and Responsibilities parent-student signature page, as well as optional forms, including opt out forms, medication forms, family life education form and PTSA registration form. All forms can be found on Herndon High School's home page.
Additionally, freshman/new student orientation will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the gym on Aug. 30. Students will be picked up from the following elementary schools and middle school at the following times:
• Aldrin Elementary – 8:35 a.m.
• Armstrong Elementary – 8:35 a.m.
– 8:45 a.m.
• – 8:45 a.m.
• – 8:45 a.m.
• - 8:45 a.m.
• – 8:35 a.m.
Buses will leave to bring students back to the elementary schools at 11:10 a.m.
Parking permits may be purchased from Aug. 29-30 in the cafeteria between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. All student debts must be paid before students can purchase a parking pemit. Parking forms and rules can be found on the Herndon High School website.
