Sarah Overton, a junior at Herndon High School, is the recipient of this year’s William and Mary Leadership Award.
Each spring, high schools across Virginia are invited to nominate one junior to receive the William and Mary Leadership Award. Schools are encouraged to select students who show qualities of leadership, loyalty and a passion for learning.
All recipients are invited to William and Mary’s campus for one weekend the following fall to attend the William and Mary Leadership Conference, which offers leadership seminars and allows students to interact with other young leaders from across the state.
Congratulations to Sarah and to all William and Mary Leadership Award recipients.
