Photos: St. Joseph School Celebrates 35 Years

St. Joseph School celebrated its 35th anniversary today by hosting the first annual Walk of Saints. The walk helped raise money for the SJS Endowment.

More than 600 students and teachers took part in the one-mile walk, which led them down Franciscan Way, along Ferndale Avenue, down the W&OD Trail and finally rounding up by taking Grace and Vine streets back to Peachtree. 

Upon returning to their classrooms students got to enjoy a schoolwide birthday treat of popsicles at the end of the school day. The Herndon Police Department escorted the school on its walk.
