Photos: Herndon Cheer Makes Top Four! On To Regional Finals This Saturday
You can cheer them on this Saturday afternoon as they compete against the top seven teams in the region.
Correction: The competition is Saturday, not Sunday.
It's been a heck of a month for the Herndon High School varsity cheer team!
After several straight top placements in a row, the team did it once again this past weekend, placing in the Regional Semi-Finals—and now it's on to the Regional Finals at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke this Saturday.
If the team places at this competition, they will be on to state championships, to be held at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond on Nov. 9.
You can come cheer on the Hornets this Saturday at Lake Braddock at 5 p.m. Wear red for some Hornets spirit!
THE DETAILS:
When: This Saturday, Nov. 2. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Herndon High performs first, right at 5 p.m.
Where: Lake Braddock Secondary School, 9200 Burke Lake Road, Burke
Cost: $7 entry fee
