Kohl's Cares Offers Scholarships for Outstanding Young Volunteers

Kohl's Department Stores are offering scholarships through the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program.

Kohl's Department Stores are accepting nominations for outstanding youth volunteers through the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program from Feb. 1 to March 15 at www.KohlsKids.com. 

The program is for children ages 6-18 years old. Nominators must be 21 years old. Kohl's will award more than $440,000 in scholarships to more than 2,200 children who have made a positive impact in their communities. 

Then winners will receive $10,000 toward their post-secondary education, along with $1,000 to be given to a nonprofit organization on the winners' behalf. More than 200 winners will receive scholarships worth $1,000 toward post-secondary education, and two nominees from each Kohl's store nationwide will win a $50 Kohl's gift card.

The scholarship program is part of the retailer's Kohl's Cares philanthropic program that focuses on improving the lives of children.
