Two nominees from each of Kohl's 1,100 nationwide store locations will win a $50 Kohl's gift card; more than 200 store winners will win regional scholarships worth $1,000 toward post-secondary education; and ten winners across the country will be awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships for post-secondary education.
Kohl's will also donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner's behalf.
The Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program is part of Kohl's philanthropic program, Kohl's Cares. The program focuses on improving the lives of children and teens. More than 17,000 children and youth have received more than $3.4 million in scholarships and prizes since the program began.
