Herndon's Schow to Play Football for Guilford College

Herndon High School's Josh Schow signed a letter of intent to play football at Guilford College starting in the fall.

Guilford College head football coach Chris Rusiewicz announced that Herndon High School's Josh Schow, along with five other incoming students, will play football for the Quakers on May 9.

Schow has earned three letters for Herndon High School football coach, Joe Schaeffer. The 5-9, 180-pound running back rushed for 1,074 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. He also lettered four times with the Hornets’ track and field team and was part of the school’s record-setting 4x100 relay team. He looks to study environmental science at Guilford.

Five more incoming students that will play alongside Schow include Taylor Knox of Raleigh, NC, Troy Philpott of Salem, VA, Ramce Rojas of Greensboro, NC, Jacob Sayer of Franklin, NC, and Marcus Williams of Cary, NC.
