Herndon Rotary Announces Essay Contest Winners
Three Herndon students honored in Herndon Rotary Club's annual essay contest.
The Herndon Rotary Club sponsored an essay contest for Henrdon-area middle school students based on Rotary's Four-Way Test, with help from Herndon Middle School's Principal Justine Klena and Assistant Principal Karyn Niles.
Nineteen students submitted essays in the contest and three were selected for awards. This years winners are: Tristan Savage in first place, winning $200; Abby Smith in second place, winning $100; and David Fehrle in third place, winning $50.
Tristan's winning essay will now be entered in the Rotary District 7610's essay contest. The Herndon Rotary Club sends its congratulations to all contest entrants.
