Herndon Homecoming Parade Needs Volunteers, Convertibles

Homecoming parade still needs convertibles and drivers for Homecoming court.

The Herndon Homecoming parade is this weekend and volunteers are still needed. 

Herndon High School is looking for area residents with convertibles to volunteer to drive the school's Homecoming Court members and Town Council members through the parade route on Sautrday. 

The school is also looking for a number of volunteers to help out in organizing the parade on the morning of Homecoming any time between 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Volunteers will help set up for the parade and facilitate the movement of the parade. Volunteers are vital to the parade. Ten are needed for the first shift from 6:30 - 9 a.m. and 10 are needed from the second shift from 8:30 - 11 a.m. Two volunteers are also needed to help with cleanup from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. 

Duties will include marking off parade entry spots, providing information to parade entries, and communicating with other volunteers during the parade.
