The Herndon Homecoming parade is this weekend and volunteers are still needed.
Herndon High School is looking for area residents with convertibles to volunteer to drive the school's Homecoming Court members and Town Council members through the parade route on Sautrday.

Volunteers will help set up for the parade and facilitate the movement of the parade. Volunteers are vital to the parade. Ten are needed for the first shift from 6:30 - 9 a.m. and 10 are needed from the second shift from 8:30 - 11 a.m. Two volunteers are also needed to help with cleanup from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.
Duties will include marking off parade entry spots, providing information to parade entries, and communicating with other volunteers during the parade.
Those with convertibles who would like to volunteer can contact Kelly Goodwin at firstname.lastname@example.org or Leslie Aschenbach at email@example.com. Those who would like to volunteer the morning of the parade to set up and organize can contact Aschenbach.
