Herndon High School Ranks No. 1 for Microsoft Office Mastery

18 students from Herndon High School - more than any other school in Virginia - earned their MOS Masters Certificates this year.

Many of us learn to use programs like Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint at some point in our careers, but how many of us can call ourselves Microsoft masters?

Herndon High School ranked No. 1 in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the most Microsoft Office Master Certificates earned this school year. 

Students must pass six exams to demonstrate deep understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and another program of their choice (either Outlook or Access). Herndon High School is the only school in 

Of the 257 schools throughout Virginia where students earned Microsoft Office Industry Certifications, only 14 schools had students who earned Master Certifications.
